organization of more than 175,000 members in 159 countries which focuses on leadership and professional development as well as community and international  service.  A Rotary International official will present the charter to President Richard R. Rush.  Representatives from all 23 Ventura County Rotary Clubs will also be present to meet with faculty and staff to
create business links and to offer support for the University.  Attendance is by invitation only.

Rotary International is a service organization with over 1.2 million Rotarian members in 166 countries, including former states in the now defunct U.S.S.R., and also China.

Rotarians all over the world are united in “Service Above Self” to bring about world peace, through world understanding, through Rotary’s many scholarship and cultural education programs.  Rotary’s goal of bringing better health, clean water and humanity to the underprivileged corners of the world, has resulted in virtually wiping out the scourge of polio.
