To ensure your document is well organized we also need to make sure that your document has an appropriate page title specified in the correct locations. First of all, the title of your document should be written out as text in your web page and marked using the appropriate heading, and we did that in the previous step. So Mouse College Soccer Program is the title of our page and it is marked, as we can see, in our properties inspector here as Heading 1. We also need to make sure that that page title is echoed correctly in the title tag within our HTML in our document and the easiest way to do this in Dreamweaver is to use the Title Field shortcut at the top of the window, and we're going to retype in the title of our document at that location. It's really important to do this to enable the searchability of your website as the title that is listed in the title tag within your HTML, which is also echoed here as this Dreamweaver shortcut, is how your web page is represented to various search engines like Google and Yahoo. So if your document title here is listed as untitled document people that are searching for your web page may have a more difficult time finding it. Please note that if you are using the CSUCI Web Content Management System, currently Sarena Collage, this good page title is automatically created for you correctly. So make sure you have an appropriate title specified for your web page both in the HTML title tag as well as within the body of your web page.
