Welcome to California State University Channel Islands!  Attending Orientation is an important step in making the transition to the campus life at CSUCI.

Dates for Orientation for International Students

Graduate Programs:

11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 29

Please contact the Center for International Affairs at international@csuci.edu for orientation dates.

Undergraduate Programs

International students who are accepted to CSUCI will receive an e-mail message regarding the campus orientation.  Please make sure to attend both campus orientation and the international student orientation. 

Campus Orientation  - June or July

Fall International Orientation - 9:30 am to 2:00 pm on August 27 at Sage Hall 2030

Spring International Orientation - First week of the Spring semester - TBA

Required Documents

All new students are required to submit the following documents:  

1. Copy of F-1 student visa
2. Copy of I-94 card front and back side
3. Passport page with picture and expiration date
4. CSUCI SEVIS I-20 (for transfer students please bring copy of previous school’s I-20)
5. Student Biographical Form (Download)

If you have dependents with you in the U.S., bring copies of all of their immigration documents as well.
